CM Of Jharkhand Hemant Soren To Inaugurate National Tribal Dance Festival On Rajyotsav 2021

Raipur – National Tribal Dance Festival and Rajyotsava 2021 will be inaugurated in a grand ceremony to be held on 28 October at 11 am at Science College Ground, by the hands of Chief Guest, Hemant Soren, Chief Minister of Jharkhand.

Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Bhupesh Baghel will preside over this inaugural ceremony.

According to the scheduled program, from 11 am to 12.30 pm, an attractive march past will be performed by tribal dancers from different states of the country including Chhattisgarh and foreign countries participating in the National Tribal Dance Festival.

Besides, keynote speakers will deliver their speeches. In the inaugural ceremony, from 12.30 pm to 2 pm, the team of Gaur Singh dancers from Nigeria, Palestine, Chhattisgarh, Hojagiri-Tripura will stage their performance. The exhibition organized on this occasion will be inaugurated and perused by the guests from 2 pm to 3 pm.

At the programme venue, dance competitions on the theme wedding ceremony will be held from 2.30pm to 6.30pm, in which 11 dance troupes will stage performances of 15 minutes each.

Dance troupes from Madhya Pradesh will stage Karma dance of Gond tribe, troupe from Jharkhand will stage Kadsa dance, team from Jammu Kashmir will stage Gojri dance, dance troupe from Andhra Pradesh will stage Guryaballu, Dance troupe from Assam will stage Karbi-Tiwa, Andhra Pradesh- Dimsa, Odisha-Dhap, Telangana-Kommukoya, Madhya Pradesh-Dandar, Odisha-Bonda, Gujarat-Mewasi dance.

Dance competition will be organized on the theme of traditional festivals and rituals, harvesting-agriculture and other traditional methods from 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm, in which 05 dancers will participate.

This would include performances based of Karma dance by dance troupe of Chhattisgarh, Jhinjhi Hanna-Uttarakhand, Gusadi-Dimsa-Telangana, Oraon-Jharkhand, Siddhi Goma dance by the dance troupe of Gujarat.

A program will be organized at the main stage from 8 pm to 9.30 pm in the presence of Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uikey as Chief Guest, in which tribal dancers from Switzerland, Uzbekistan and Mali will perform. Chief Minister will preside over this programme and keynote speakers will deliver their speeches.
